  • To be affiliated with the Wisconsin State Reading Association and the International Reading Association.
  • To provide newsletters which contain current information concerning local, state, and international happenings and provide opportunities to meet and share with others who are interested in the promotion of literacy.
  • To encourage community activities which promote literacy for children and adults.

It’s Easy to Join Interlake Reading Council

Membership dues for the 2007-2008, school year are just $10.00. Student membership is only $5.00. Your membership in Interlake Reading Council provides you with the opportunity to support your local council and hear speakers who are literacy leaders. Interlake dinner meetings provide you with the chance to relax and network with other reading professionals, and they offer you free professional materials and ideas. You’ll gain strategies that you can use the next day in your classroom. Interlake Reading Council membership is a professional bargain .
