Welcome to the Early Literacy Intervention HomepageEarly Literacy Intervention Position StatementThe purpose of the Early Intervention Committee shall be to provide support and information to kindergarten, first and second grade teachers, and elementary principals for developing early intervention programs. In addition, work with the Legislative Committee in informing state legislators about the need for and power of early interventions. The committee will: collect and disseminate information about early interventions options; work with the Legislative Committee in conceiving a plan to communicate with state legislators about the funding needs and legislation for early intervention; and develop presentations for the WSRA conferences focusing on early intervention.
