What is the WSRA Hotline?     Back to Top

The WSRA Hotline is a listserv, or an electronic mailing list, which allows subscribers to send an e-mail message to other subscribers on the list by posting messages through WSRA's website. WSRA intends to use the Hotline as an alert line that disseminates dated information and issues to WSRA members who subscribe to the service. WSRA will use the Hotline to:

  • notify people about legislative issues and other concerns,
  • inform people about conferences, deadlines, and when the website is updated,
  • request proposals and articles, and
  • solicit convention volunteers and committee members.
Subscribers may use the Hotline to:
  • announce literacy meetings, conferences and workshops,
  • request educational information,
  • seek volunteers for special projects and committee work,
  • inform subscribers about job openings,
  • provide information about grants, etc.

Important note : The views expressed on the WSRA Hotline are not necessarily those of the WSRA organization.
