WSRA Sponsored ROAD SHOW Moving toward Action: Expanding Your Sphere of Influence to Impact Practice, Pedagogy, Policies, and Politics presented by Kathy Champeau and Mike Ford

Paul Gorski reminded us that our frustration to make change as individuals can be rethought as we work within our spheres of influence to impact others. This is especially true for those who make decisions about practices and policies that invade our classrooms and schools. Champeau and Ford will share insights from their perspectives as longtime chairs of WSRA Legislative and Advocacy Committees. Let’s take a pulse of social and political contexts in which school programs operate. Then let’s look at practical strategies and tactics for expanding our spheres of influence that collectively and individually lead to actions beyond acceptance and compliance.
