Speakers

Kelly Gallagher is a full-time English teacher at Magnolia High School in Anaheim, California, where he has taught twenty-one years. He is the author of Reading Reasons: Motivational Mini-Lessons for the Middle and High School, Deeper Reading: Comprehending Challenging Texts , and Teaching Adolescent Writers.

Doug Buehl worked for 33 years for the Madison Metropolitan School District and is a highly respected educational consultant.. He recently co-chaired the DPI Adolescent Literacy Task Force. Doug served on the task for that developed the national standards for Literacy Coaches. He is the author of Classroom Strategies for Interactive Learning (2001), co-author of Reading and the High School Student (2007) and co-author of Strategies to Enhance Literacy and Learning In the Middle School Content Area Classroom (2007).

Fees

Registration Fee for WSRA Members: $150.00
Registration Fee for Non-members: $190.00
