Fox Valley Reading Council Meeting

5:30-6:30  Presentation “We Think in Ink” presented by Mike Leannah

Mike will go over the main points of the book, We Think with Ink. He will tell of different ways to get students' work published, by which he means "into the hands of people outside the classroom." He will address the subject of rejection, something all writers tend to dread, but shouldn't. He will present a variety of ways to motivate young writers. There will be games and activities, so Mike would like each participant to be ready with a nice, sharp pencil or a favorite pen. He will be bringing some of his books for purchasing, as well!
