The Young Authors’ Conference for young people in grades 3 to 5 will be held at the WITC Conference Center in Rice Lake, Wisconsin from 8 a.m. to noon on April 23, 2016. Each young author will be asked to bring a story or poems that he/she has written to share. The young authors will get to attend three sessions during the morning, one of which will be with author Lynne Jonell. She has written five novels, four chapter books, and seven picture books for children. Her newest novel, an adventure/fantasy for ages 8-14 is The Sign of the Cat.
