Our History

Established in 1956, the Milwaukee Area Reading Council (MARC) is an affiliate of both Wisconsin State Reading Association and International Reading Association. Our shared purpose is to promote literacy through both community partnerships and service as well as provide literacy focused professional development sessions for educators.

Our Mission

The Milwaukee Area Reading Council members are dedicated to promoting literacy in the Milwaukee area communities.
