Title: The Importance of Stories presented by Brian Wilhorn

“Students can’t always travel to distant places nor can they go back in time. In life we can only experience events through our own perspective. But stories can take us to these places and times. Stories can help us see through another’s eyes.” Come hear Brian Wilhorn share how the stories in great children’s books can spark interest in content area lessons, build background knowledge, connect students to characters they understand, and promote a deeper understanding of the lessons we teach.
